Superwash 100% Merino Wool

Extrafine merino which is 19.5 microns. It is soft and gentle against the skin but also strong and durable for long wearing. Highly breathable and allows you to stay cool in warm weather and warm in cool weather. Naturally antimicrobial and natural elasticity allows garments to stretch and return to their original shape. Worsted spun from extra long staple fibre to produce a yarn that is fine and strong with a silky feel.

DK weight: ~200m/ 100g hank; Recommended Needle Size: 3.5 - 4.5mm (US 4 - 7) needles.

Fingering weight: ~400m/ 100gm hank; Recommended Needle Size: 2.5 - 4mm needles.

85% Superwash Merino & 15% Nylon: The extrafine merino wool (19.5 microns) makes this yarn luxuriously soft and bouncy for next to skin comfort with a little nylon to add extra durability. This yarn is so versatile and can be used for any next to skin project (scarves, jumpers etc) as well as items where a little more durability is required such as socks and gloves.

Fingering weight: ~400m per 100gm hank; Recommended Needle Size: 2.5 - 4mm needle. 

75% Superwash Merino and 25% Nylon: Superwash Merino wool (27 microns) is combined with nylon for a very durable and springy sock yarn. This yarn is designed for items that get a lot of wear and are washed a lot. Suitable for hard wearing sock, jumpers and gloves.

Bluefaced Leicester (BFL) Superwash 100%: This yarn uses 100% Bluefaced Leicester superwash wool from sheep in the British Isles. The Bluefaced Leicester sheep breed is well known for producing some of the finest British yarns – it’s wonderfully soft (26 micron) and has a characteristic lustre or silkiness, making it wonderful to work with. A great no nylon sock yarn alternative.

Superkid Mohair: The first shearing of the young Angora (Mohair) Goats. Yarns made from superfine Kid Mohair have super soft feel and lack of scratchiness.
Mohair has about twice the thermal properties of wool and provides real warmth and comfort for the wearer.

Lace weight: 72% Superkid Mohair & 28% Mulberry Silk - ~420m/ 50 gram hank; Recommended Needle Size: 3 - 4mm (US 2-6) needles.

Fingering weight: 56% Extrafine Superwash Merino (19.5 microns) & 44% Superkid Mohair - ~360m/100g hank; 

Cashmerino: Imagine the super soft bounciness of Merino wool combined with the lusciousness of Cashmere. What you get is Cashmerino, no nylon. This beautiful yarn is made of 80% Superwash Extrafine Merino (19.5 microns) and 20% Cashmere.

Fingering weight: ~400m/100g hank; 

DK weight: ~250m/100g hank; Recommended Needle Size: 3.5 - 4.5mm (US 4 - 7) needles.

Silky Merino: 50% Superwash Extrafine Merino & 50% Mulberry Silk. A shimmering, lustrous, soft and strong yarn with added strength and more drape.  The silk adds extra body to the yarn to hold stitches in shape on larger or lacey items. 

Light Fingering weight: ~700m/100g hank; Recommended Needle Size: 2.0 - 4mm needles.

DK weight: ~350m/100g; Recommended Needle Size: 3.0 - 5mm needles.
